Mr Chairman, ladies and gentemen.
	Thank you for the invitation to speak at this National Meeting of Ambulance Officers.
	My talk is entitled Air Retrieval of the Newborn and Paediatric Patient.
	However it is not my intention to concentrate on the air component of retrieval today - that was just to suggest the “sexy” side of retrieval - planes and helicopters.
	Rather, I would like to give you a broader view of retrieval in the young patient.
