NETS uses For Transit Ambulances specially designed and fitted out for interhospital retrieval of babies and children. For easier loading of a neonatal intensive care system, an electric platform extends from the off side of the vehicle to lift the system. Loading can be accomplished by one person within occupational health and safety guidelines.

Medical oxygen and air cylinders are fitted at the rear of the vehicle with contents gauges remotely located in full view of the NETS team. Ancillary equipment can be loaded as shown.

The NETS team enjoys a forward facing, low centre–of–gravity seating position and seating at a 'passenger vehicle' standard. The view of the patient is only 15o below the view ahead — making patient and monitoring observation possible without loss of visual contact with the road ahead.
