Applications are welcomed from medical officers with significant experience in neonatal and/or paediatric critical care.
Advanced airway and team leadership skills are essential requirements.
Advanced trainees in neonatology, paediatric ED or paediatric ICU will find this post an essential component of training.
Trainees in general paediatrics seeking a career in acute paediatrics are strongly advised to consider a post in retrieval medicine; particularly as preparation for the challenges of acute or critical care in outer metropolitan and regional or remote locations.
For overseas trained doctors: Please note that recent experience in the Australian health system, or similar health system, is essential prior to undertaking retrieval work in Australia. It is recommended that clinicians obtain paediatric and/or neonatal clinical experience in Australia before applying for a position at NETS NSW.

2. NETS Advanced Trainee: 6 and 12 month posts available.
Recruitment campaigns run twice annually: March and August.
NETS AT recruitment campaign from 16 July to 6 August 2024 in annual JMO medical recruitment.
3. Critical Care Rotation: PICU/ PAEDS ED/NETS Advanced Trainee: 24 months - February 2024 to February 2026
6 months of each rotation with 4th rotation of choice.
