Humpty Dumpty Foundation Grants NETS a Wish
At Humpty Dumpty's annual "Good Egg Lunch" NETS wish for 20 resuscitation packs for all regional base hospitals was granted. The 'Good Egg' packs are valued at $6,000 making a grand total of $120,000.
NETS have worked closely with leading Paediatricians to ensure each pack is equipped with crucial equipment and items required to treat a sick baby in an isolated emergency situation until the NETS team arrives. Strategically placed in regional base hospitals around rural NSW, the packs will be ready and waiting should an emergency situation arise.
Each pack is waterproof and folds out ensuring all the contents are easily accessible and visible at a glance. Each separate compartment contains medical equipment such as baby-size catheters and tracheal tubes and drugs specifically for babies.
