NETS aims to be inclusive in our culture,
our communication and in our education goals focusing on the best
outcomes for the infants and children who are critically ill or injured
Communication needs to be respectful at all times and inclusive - at NETS
we are acutely aware of our limitations being remote to the patient and
conscious of the challenges faced by our colleagues working in remote,
rural and regional hospitals. It is a collaboration.
We aim to use our combined skills in partnership to ensure the critically
ill and injured children in NSW & the ACT get the right care at the
right time. We appreciate feedback from our colleagues so that we can
continually improve the process and the service to facilitate best care
for infants and children. In 2016, and in conjunction with the AMA and
the SCHN, we will be conducting a survey of rural and regional clinicians
to understand how we might improve our service into the future.
